A look back on the SFCNS Congress 2025

From 29 to 31 October 2025, the 6th SFCNS Congress in Lausanne once again brought together the full spectrum of clinical neurosciences in Switzerland. Under the motto United for Brain Health, around 800 specialists - from neurology to neurosurgery, neuroradiology to neuropediatrics, neurophysiology to neuropathology, and beyond - met to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration and help shape the future of brain health.

SFCNS Swiss Brain Health Plan: Strong Momentum at the 3rd Stakeholder Meeting

The 3rd Stakeholder Meeting of the SFCNS Swiss Brain Health Plan took place on October 30, 2025 during the SFCNS Congress and was a big success. It reflected Switzerland’s growing engagement in advancing brain health as a public health priority and reaffirmed the country’s leading role in global brain health advocacy.

Professor Raphael Guzman elected President of the Swiss Federation of Clinical Neuro-Societies SFCNS

We are pleased to announce that Professor Raphael Guzman has been elected President of the Swiss Federation of Clinical Neuro-Societies (SFCNS) during the Delegates’ Assembly on 29 October 2025. He succeeds Prof. Luca Remonda, who has significantly strengthened and advanced the SFCNS during his presidency.

#BrainHealthChallenge2025: A Global Movement for Brain Health – Made in Switzerland

On May 22, 2025, the international social media campaign #BrainHealthChallenge2025, initiated by students of the CAS in Brain Health at the University of Bern, has officially been launched. The campaign aims to raise global awareness of the importance of brain health. It speaks to people of all ages and sends a clear and creative message: Brain health starts in everyday life – and everyone can contribute.
