#BrainHealthChallenge2025: A Global Movement for Brain Health – Made in Switzerland

On May 22, 2025, the international social media campaign #BrainHealthChallenge2025 has officially been launched. The campaign aims to raise global awareness of the importance of brain health. It speaks to people of all ages and sends a clear and creative message: Brain health starts in everyday life – and everyone can contribute. The project has been initiated by students of the CAS in Brain Health at the University of Bern. The campaign aims to raise global awareness of the importance of brain health. It speaks to people of all ages and sends a clear and creative message: Brain health starts in everyday life – and everyone can contribute.

Participation is simple yet impactful: share a photo or video featuring a protective head covering as a symbol of brain protection, along with a personal brain-friendly tip – such as more physical activity, a healthy diet, or sufficient sleep. Then, post it on social media with the hashtag #BrainHealthChallenge2025 and invite others to join the movement.

The campaign is part of a growing global initiative and is supported by numerous professional societies and organizations, including the Swiss Brain Health Foundation. The Swiss Federation of Clinical Neuro-Societies (SFCNS) and the SFCNS Swiss Brain Health Plan (SBHP) are proud and active partners of this inspiring initiative.

Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h. c. mult. Claudio L.A. Bassetti, Chair of the SBHP, emphasizes:
“The #BrainHealthChallenge2025 brings the topic of brain health into the heart of society. That is exactly our goal – to inform, raise awareness, and promote prevention for the most vital organ of our lives.”

The campaign will reach its peak on World Brain Day, July 22, 2025 – a powerful moment to unite around a shared vision: A healthy brain – for life.
