SFCNS Swiss Brain Health Plan: Update
Following the successful 2nd Stakeholder Meeting of the SFCNS Swiss Brain Health Plan in December 2024, the project also made significant progress in the first quarter of 2025:
- In January 2025, members of the SFCNS Swiss Brain Health Plan Board were at the WEF in Davos to discuss topics such as brain health, brain capital and the importance of national brain plans with other experts and interested parties in the Brain House.
Read more - At the European Investment Bank (EIB) Foresight Roundtable in Luxembourg (mid-February 2025), which focused on creating an investment agenda to address the brain health challenge, the SFCNS Swiss Brain Health Plan was presented at European level as a networked, impact-oriented model that could serve as an example for other countries.
- In March 2025, the article One brain, one mind, one health, one planet-a call from Switzerland for a systemic approach in brain health research, policy and practice, has been published. The majority of the authors of this paper are SFCNS Swiss Brain Health Plan board members.
- The SFCNS Swiss Brain Health Plan had the honor to meet Federal Councillor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider for the second time (early March 2025). Anne Lévy, Director of the FOPH, was also present. At this inspiring meeting, they discussed how best to promote brain health.
- The SFCNS Swiss Brain Health Plan also took part in the European Brain Council's annual Brain Awareness Week (end of March 2025), which was held in the European Parliament. The event brought together brain health experts from all over the world.
Further projects are in the planning or realization phase.
There will also be further events. The next International Workshop will take place in Bern on June 12/13, 2025 (by invitation). Around 30 experts from around 15 different countries from all over the world will speak and discuss. Program
